A favorite recipe in a fancy new mold . . . Ain't it purty?
Click here for the recipe: Pumpkin Banana Bread. I took it to work and it was gone in a flash!
I went to Williams-Sonoma to buy the pumpkin bread mold . . . and left with a set of Pumpkin Botanical Print Dish Towels that were simply irresistible. Just keep me away from that store!
O.K. I'm officially welcoming . . . Pumpkin Season!

While visiting my daughter it was all I could do to keep from going into the Williams-Sonoma store. I had to keep reminding myself about space limitations in luggage coming home. I am now glad I didn't go in because there is no way I could have resisted that pumpkin bread mold. And I'm confident I could have squeezed in a dish towel or two in my suitcase.
Ok that just looks to pretty to eat. I bet it was good.
Not crazy about pumpkin - but love your new mold!! I'll have to check it out next time I see a William Sonoma store! Guess I could make any kind of bread in that mold?!!
Your mold is just incredible! How can we fit in all of these wonderful items?!! I can see why it was gone right away. I bet it is fabulous. Your tea towels are beautiful too. Isn' WS just incredible - so tempting.
I just love your pictures of the hibiscus. I had two of them and this year only part of one came up. I really need to plant them again because they are out of this world and make living here (in Utah) feel like a bit of the exotic!
I love that mold and think I need one myself.. good thing there is NO store in Lubbock and I have to order everything.. Maybe next trip to Dallas. I saw those dishtowels too. they are beautiful and will look so charming even if folded as a small table runner. Carnations are pretty.. especially the newer varieties with the ruffled edges and striations throughout them.. and they last forever.. :-)... xo marlis
