Easter Brunch

We celebrated this special day with simple comfort foods.
The rabbits left the mantle and got closer so they could join the celebration . . .
They were very attentive, hoping we'd drop a carrot or two . . .

Yellow tulips and blue delphiniums . . . Don't they just scream SPRING!!!

The most scrumptious candy-coated truffles, laced with some sort of cherry liqueur, are disguised as robins' eggs. I found them at Williams-Sonoma, along with the nests.

You wouldn't believe how much cream this little cow holds - enough for four cups of coffee, Boston-style! Another find from Williams-Sonoma. I could move right into W-S and live happily ever after. I love that store!

Moo! Happy Spring!

It looks so yummy and I love those little nests and eggs! I'll reserve comment on the creamer, though. My grandmother had one for so many years. I used to make fun of her "throwing up cow" when I was a little girl (probably 10 or 11) and kept it up for years. I swear that she never used that thing unless I was there to laugh at it. When she passed away last year, guess what was given to me by my uncles? Yep, that creamer. Grandma had put a note in it, up in the cabinet, saying that it was specifically for me. lol Grandma got me good, even months after her death!

Williams-Sonoma was my 'before kids' favorite spot. Between me and my mom, we amassed quite a collection of fun things from there - never gets old, and you can never have too much kitchen 'stuff'. We were also regulars at Kitchen Bizarre in DC back in the day. Beautiful Easter table and gorgeous flowers. I'm with Kristie, your's is the house to be at Easter.

Those flowers are just spectacular! Love the dark blue/purple with the yellow! And I'm with you on wanting to live in Williams-Sonoma! I always spend time in one when we travel for our "big city fix."
