What wonderful memories!! wonderful photo Maria!!
does he have a mustache? please tell me your brother has a painted on mustache. The outfits are fantastic and the two of you are cute as can be. As one of my friends from high school just reminded me - it has been more than 20 and less than 40 years ago that we were marching in the Mardi Gras parade. Fun times!
Nicki - Yes, my brother does have a fake mustache, painstakingly painted on by my older sister. Interestingly enough, Al has had a real mustache for most of his life. Now it's getting a little grey . . .
That is such a great picture! What a treasure!! Love it!
Maria, you had the best clothes as kids! This is fantastic, and what a treasure to have these old photos!
You looked so festive and cute!
Hi Maria, I love this old picture so I decided to go back through your blog and see more from your Cuban life. Of course, I started with your recap of 2008 and now I'm laughing so hard. I'm also waiting to go back to Italy. Isn't it fabulous? I hope you'll tell us more about Cuba. Linda
You two cuties look adorable! Such memmories, ha? Do you remember Cuba from your childhood? God, wish it was free soon, Jesus! I had so many friends from Cuba when I was a kid in the early 60's, I used to help them with the English and whatever we could too, specially our nice neighbors, the Oteros. My mom served a tamal de yuca as an antree, than later ice cream in the sherbets, than carrot cake, little pork sandwiches and granola cookies. Thanks for coming by dear Maria. Love,FABBY
there is charm in looking and uncovering old photos... :)
