What is there to say? I already knew that Dan Brown was not a good writer. He has a talent for developing a plot, I'll give him that, but reading his books is like eating fast food - it seems pretty good in the moment but leaves you feeling icky and guilty afterwards. I read it anyway. Oh, well, maybe the movie will be better . . .

I'm not fond of Dan Brown's writing either. I think part of the problem is that I just don't really feel much of a connection to his characters; it's fine with me if they fall off a cliff. . . and that cant be right! I really like your writing about your arrival in the US, Maria. How interesting, and now there's a unique (and genuine) perspective! Good luck with your continuing remodeling! We're waiting for more windows. . . And because we'd been doing so much decluttering, we also got our carpet cleaned, which meant Bonnie went to doggy daycare for the day, and got a bath, and now we were reminded she needs two more shots. . . .and one thing leads to another. . . .
Thanks for the warning.
