Here is some of the work she displayed, which my husband Lee had the presence of mind to photograph before the guests descended and pandemonium ensued.
And here is the artiste herself!
As if this wasn't enough fun for one day, Lee's brother, Robert, his wife, Barb, and Barb's daughter, Jane with her family came over. We watched the Bears game and ate pizza and minestrone soup. Everyone liked the soup, which was a recipe from the Silver Palate Good Times Cookbook (thank you, Angela!). It was a wonderful day!

It was a fun jewelry party with many beautiful pieces. The soup was outstanding. My daughter Joy called me tonight and said to make sure and call Maria and thank her for preparing that soup. She had just finished preparing that recipe for dinner. (Jane passed the recipe around) I guess it took her two hours and mostly a lot of chopping. Anyway, thank you for a wonderful evening and dinner.
Thanks so much for giving me a venue and an opportunity to meet so many of your friends from work. It's always fun to spend time with you and your family. I'll be hard at work on the next projects you've lined up for me (AG -- after the garage sale, that is).
