What better way is there to welcome January than with a riot of mini carnations, the January birth flower - my birth flower, in garnet (birthstone) red?
In the language of flowers dark red carnations signify deep love and affection. I dedicate them to you, my friends and fellow bloggers, with sincerest regard.
May the new year bring you love. In the end, isn't that all that matters?

Happy New Year Maria! I wish you much love in 2017 too, and a very happy January birthday! Red carnations are such a wonderful way to brighten up a dark winter day. I sometimes use white carnations in the winter because they remind me of snow fields, but the red is so cheerful. Hope you have a wonderful birthday celebration planned! Linda
Happy January birthday, and the carnations are beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful flowers! And the colors, OMG! What a great idea to start the year with flowers, I like that. Thanks! And greetings.
Wishing you all the best in this new year. While here, let me wish you a very happy birthday as well, Maria.
Hi Maria, I hope you are doing well! We would all love to hear some news from you soon! Enjoy this holiday weekend. My son is off to Chicago with a group of friends. I'll have him call you if they get in trouble! :) Linda
