We're floored!

Our floors are done!  Trim molding has yet to be installed, and there are some paint touch-ups here and there, but for the most part, we can start putting our furniture back . . .

From the Living Room towards the Dining Room . . .

The Breakfast Nook and Kitchen . . .

From the Living Room towards the Front Door and Hallway . . .

From the Front Door . . .

First step going to the 2nd Floor . . .

Steps going up.  The risers will be painted white . . .

2nd Floor Hallway . . .

Steps going down . . .

And our brand new stove!  Completely installed this very night by my handy husband, who after grumbling a little and making a couple of trips to Home Depot, once again managed to do the installation on his own.  He did need to read the instructions this time . . . imagine that, my guy reading instructions . . .

I may actually have to crack that booklet open myself.  This new stove has more features than I know what to do with . . .  And I have some catch-up baking to do . . .

It looks great! Be careful on those stairs (we've had the debate of carpet versus hardwood on the stairs and my clumsiness has confirmed carpet).

Maria, your floors look great! Good luck with the new stove too!
I think I have the same variety of clematis on
my lamp post! Last year it got some kind of disease and I had to cut it way back, but it is blooming, albeit smaller!
Happy Mother's Day!

OMG, this is gorgeous! Bravo! You two did fantastic! Don't you just want to lay on the floor and just, well. . . touch them all over! I imagine they're heavenly, walking barefoot on them! And like Nicki said, be careful on the stairs! What kind of stove did you get? Foolishly, we bought a "home smart" warranty through our electrical company, which means our appliances keep getting fixed. I keep hoping the stove will totally break and I can get a new one :)
