Early Fall Downtown

We are a 15-minute drive from the downtown district . . . Downtown Naperville, that is . . .

Lots of places to eat . . . Some dressy, and some casual enough to just pop in without a lot of planning . . .

Now why didn't I think of these when I went out looking for new Salt and Pepper shakers . . .

Naperville has developed a delightful riverwalk along the west bank of the DuPage River . . . .

Peaceful, beautiful . . .

It may not be the bridges of Madison County, but it has its own charm . . .

It was a nice way to say good bye to summer . . .

Saying goodbye to summer? Still looks like full blown summer to me, by Alaskan standards! I love those purple blossoms. And those S&P shakers are awesome! :)

Love the quaint feeling of the town you have captured. I perused the rest of your blog and love the photos of your beautiful tablesettings. This is an art form that is being lost in our world of fast food and families not eating together.

I see a lot of photo opp potentials with the bridge and water way - very pretty. And one day I'll have to share my story of my trip to Cancun and bottles of Coronita. I'm sitting here chuckling just thinking about it.

Oh, that bridge looks fantastic! And those are really nice purple flowers, which sadly won't be around much longer.
