I bought a box of peaches at Costco because they looked so good . . .
Then, I found myself in a race to use them all before they spoiled . . .
So I decided to try a recipe I'd often heard about, but never tried: Peach Melba. The recipe is simplicity itself: A peach half poached in a Vanilla Bean Simple Syrup, covered in a homemade Raspberry Sauce, with some toasted almond slices scattered on top, and served with Vanilla Ice Cream. Oh, my! It was delicious!
I had to show it off on top of this lovely botanical print Peaches and Cherries kitchen towel . . .
I wasn't completely satisfied with my first styling, so I tried again the next day . . . It was delicious both ways.
