The reinvention of an old favorite

How do you jazz up a good ol' peanut butter and jelly sandwich?  Try switching to almond butter . . .  Less fat, more calcium, more deliciousness . . .

Add a different jelly . . .  It is a well known fact that Cubans have guava running through their veins . . .

Oatnut is a really nice bread . . . Say "Oatnut" three times fast . . . Now try it again with a mouth full of almond butter . . .

Cut the sandwich, for Pete's sake!  It'll only take a second!  And please cut it in thirds . . . after all, we are trying something different, right . . . ?

There now, all we need is a nice cup of tea . . .

Now, what kind of tea . . . ?

Wedding in Philadelphia

Our nephew, Scott, married his Elizabeth just over a week ago . . .

They are such a beautiful couple!  And such wonderful people, too!

We were so pleased to be able to witness their special day!  If there was a dry eye to be found, it wasn't mine . . .

Philadelphia: Tropical Paradise . . . ?

We traveled to Philadelphia to attend the wedding of Scott, our dear nephew, and the first thing we saw as we exited the gate at the airport was . . .

Just what you'd expect from this marvelous tropical destination . . . especially at this time of year!

Hmm . . . A little unusual . . . I wonder what other surprises await us . . .

I went to Williams-Sonoma to buy the pumpkin bread mold . . . and left with a set of Pumpkin Botanical Print Dish Towels that were simply irresistible.  Just keep me away from that store!
