I turned over the bag to read the ingredients and this is the list (capitalization theirs):
MILK CHOCOLATE (SUGAR, CHOCOLATE, SKIM MILK, COCOA BUTTER, LACTOSE, MILKFAT, SOY LETHICIN, SALT, ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS), SUGAR CORNSTARCH, LESS THAN 1% - CORN SYRUP, DEXTRIN, COLORING (INCLUDES YELLOW 5 LAKE, RED 40 LAKE, BLUE 2 LAKE, YELLOW 6 LAKE, YELLOW 5, BLUE 1, RED 40, YELLOW 6, BLUE 1 LAKE, BLUE 2), ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, GUM ACACIA.
Remember the old Wendy's Commercial "Where's the Beef?" Well, where's the coconut?
That's so disappointing! If it's any consolation, the pics are yummy!
ReplyDeleteLOL - Where's the coconut!! How sad that they didn't even add a little in the candy!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! NO coconut! My opinion anyway, is that is you take all those ingredients in your body that you'd better love it.
ReplyDeleteI discovered these in October, and even though it is faux coconut, they are delicious! I put them in chocolate cookies and it was a rather Mounds-ish taste.
ReplyDeletewhere indeed! and I loved those old Wendy's commercials (reminded me of my grandmother - had to look twice to be sure it wasn't her). I LOVE M&M - but coconut, not so much - so I won't be tempted by this misguided effort.
